General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been in effect since May 25, 2018. The GDPR replaces the Personal Data Protection Act (Wbp). The introduction of the GDPR means that the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union from May 25, 2018.
The GDPR aims to guarantee the protection of personal data and determines how organizations should handle personal data.
What are personal data?

Special personal data
– Race

– Sexual life
– Political views
– Health
– Trade union membership
– Criminal conduct
– Genetic data
– Biometric data
